Review Policy

Blogging is not my main occupation, just something I do on the side. I put as much time in my blog as I can based on my schedule. I am, before all else, a university student and my studies are my priority at the moment. I am a very passionate reader and love to share my opinion on books with others which is why I started this blog.

I am  happy to receive requests for review by authors and publishers. If you have such a request you can contact me at emiliebookworld@gmail.com. I am also happy to host giveaways or have author interviews. 

I read many different types of books but most fall under the umbrella of Young Adult. However, I will read books that are outside of this category if they sound interesting to me and can also appeal to a YA audience. For a list of the books I have reviewed please see here.

I will not accept non-fiction, self-published books or e-books or pdf’s as I can only stare at a computer screen for so long.

Once I read the book and review it, I don’t guarantee a positive review. I will give my opinion whether it be positive or  not. The reviews I post are personal and will reflect my honest opinion as much as possible. If I find a book that I didn’t like I will still include parts which I liked so that reviews are not all negative. I also don’t offer a rating system as I find this can sometimes be misleading for possible readers. 

If you send me a book to review I will try to get to it as soon as I possibly can, but as I said, I am a student and some periods may be busier than others. However if you have a specific time at which you would like me to post a review I will respect this as much as I can. 

I also post my reviews on Goodreads and if there is anywhere else you would like me to post the review please let me know and I will do my best.
