150 Follower Giveaway Winners

So this was my first real, big giveaway and it went way beyond what I expected. When I first posted it a month ago, I was definitely not expecting to have that many people enter. Including extra entries, I had almost 900 entries to go through (though I was smart and started adding them all up as they came). And not to mention that I almost doubled the number of blog followers I had, and I'm pretty sure that the same thing could be said about Twitter followers. All in all, I can say that it was real success so thank you everyone for entering!

Now for the part that you all actually want to hear about:

First Winner (choice of any one book I have reviewed):

#151 Elena Salvatore of Elena's Book Cafe (Claimed)

Second Winner (choice of any one book released during the month of October):

#367 Jennifer L. (Claimed)

Congratulations to both winners. You have both been e-mailed and have 48 hours to reply with your book choices. Should I not hear back from a winner during that time, I will randomly draw another winner.

Halloween Read-A-Thon Wrap-Up and Giveaway Winner

So the Halloween Read-A-Thon is now over. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed getting to spend all this time reading. Not something I've been doing that much of lately what with school and everything else just piling up. I didn't manage to read all the books I wanted, I got through two completely and part of the third. I finished reading Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl as well as The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa and started on Linger by Maggie Stiefvater. The only book I didn't get to was I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore but I should be getting to that one shortly anyways. Thank you of course to Lesley of Young Adults Books Reviewed and we're sorry you couldn't make it for the last 15 minutes of the Twitter party.

So for those of you who entered my mini challenge and giveaway here is what you want to know. Thank you to everyone who entered, I really enjoyed reading about everyone's favorite paranormal creatures. There were a total of 28 people who entered and using RANDOM.ORG the winner is:

#4: Lauren M. of 365 Days of Reading

About her favorite paranormal creature, Lauren said:

"Faeries are my favorite paranormal creature! They have such an interesting backstory (the courts), and I like how they're sometimes nice, but mostly tricksters."

I will be e-mail Lauren and she will have 48 hours to answer. If I don't hear from her after that time I will be picking another winner.
